Our new range provides a choice of features and benefits to suit your patient, your clinical needs and your budget. For the patient there is a fully adjustable backrest with head
support, individual footrests which extend for the patient and arm/side support for additional comfort and security. For the clinician/therapist the benefits of working at the correct height and posture are promoted by the ability to simply and smoothly position the patient by means of a push button hand switch. Each model is fully adjustable to provide either a full length flat treatment surface or a range of standing positions which will enable the user to work in a direct and efficient manner. The new space-saving frame provides clearance for mobile hoists and has been reduced by approximately 20%, thus maximising use in minimal space environments. The model is available in a choice of cover colours with options and add-on accessories to suit a wide range of medical procedures, such as podiatry/chiropody, phlebotomy, dermatology, gynaecology and minor ops. The Universal is particularly suitable for health centres and GP clinics where it will be used for a wide range of procedures. Competitively priced, it provides effective positioning for a variety of treatments and procedures. Height adjustment is available with electric operation. The standard electric model is controlled by push button hand switch and has optional footswitch and battery backup facility. Single hand adjustments for the backrest and footrest angles are power assisted for ease of operation. Movement of the bed is easy; the standard retractable wheel system raises the bed from the floor, for mobility, and, when released, will lower the legs of the frame to the floor for stability. The retractable wheel system is ideal for use in areas where the bed will remain in one position for most of the time and is not suitable for patient transport. The large wheel system option must be purchased for this purpose. Patient comfort and security is provided by the headrest and side/arm supports. The bed includes a paper roll holder and has sockets within the framework for the fixation and positioning of optional accessories. Standard accessories: Electric model with hand switch.
